Family Fun Day

All participants of the Family Fun Day are welcomed to enjoy various attractions and facilities in the Disneyland from 3:30 p.m. until the park closes at 11:00 p.m. (buyout period starts at 8:30 p.m. during which the theme park opens exclusively for participants of the family fun day and with event credentials). As part of the programme of the Family Fun Day, guests may download a free mobile application for taking selfie picture with a set of cartoon characters to be launched by the Family Council. Interactive game with prizes, including a precious opportunity to join the interesting Ironman Backstage Tour, will be held between 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m..

All participants of the Family Fun Day may collect a souvenir presented by the Family Council at designated ticketing booths outside the exit gate during the period from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

1) "Take a Selfie with the But's Family" Game

Participants of the Family Fun Day are invited to participate in the "Take a Selfie with the But's Family" game. The game is simple: download the designated mobile app, make sure you stay tuned to the news from Family Council's facebook page, and upload a selfie of you with one of the cartoon characters onto a designated google form. Then you will have a chance to win prizes, including a precious opportunity to join the interesting "Ironman Backstage Tour".*

  1. Download the mobile app "SnapPop" ;
  2. Open the "SnapPop" app, point your camera at your credential to trigger the photo frames of the Family Icons;
  3. There are various design of photo frame featured with the Family Icon for you to take selfie.

Rules of Game

  1. There will be three rounds of game launched at irregular intervals during the game period from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.;
  2. At each round, the Family Council's facebook page will specify one member of the But's Family Icon and invite participants to take selfie with him/her;
  3. During the game period, participants have to upload the selfie photo with that Family Icon through a designated Google Form (First Round) (Second Round) (Third Round) and provide contact details. Note: participants have to login with their Google account for uploading photos. If you do not have a Google account, please click here to apply for one;
  4. Participants also have to share the selfie photo onto their own facebook timeline and get 3 "likes" from friends or family members;
  5. The first 35 participants who successfully upload correct selfie photos will receive an SMS message on prize collection. Winners should follow the instruction on the SMS message and go to the enquiry centre at "Comet Cafe, Tomorrowland" to collect the prizes upon presenting the SMS message and event credential for verification by staff;
  6. Grand prize: at each game round, a judging panel will select the best photo out of the 35 entries. Winners of the best photo will get permits for 2 persons to join the "Ironman Backstage Tour"* to be held at 9:30 p.m. on the same day.

*Only those who are 16 year-old or over and taller than 102 cm can attend the Tour. Please do not wear flip flop or sandals. Participants should present his/her HKID card before entering the backstage.

2) Souvenir Redemption

During the period from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., all participants of the Family Fun Day may collect a souvenir at the designated ticketing booths outside the exit gate by showing the event credential and providing the admission ticket. The admission tickets collected will not be returned.

3) Event Credential

All participants of Family Fun Day can enjoy various attractions inside the Hong Kong Disneyland with the event credentials.

Provided by the Hong Kong Disneyland, here are some discount offers associated with the event credentials. Please present the event credential to enjoy the offers. Terms and conditions apply and please refer to the details :

  1. guests may enjoy 30% discount on merchandise at Merchandise Stores in Hong Kong Disneyland before 11:00 p.m.;
  2. guests may enjoy a complimentary 32oz. Popcorn/Frozen Lollipop upon purchasing combo meal (excluding Kids' Meal) at Explorer's Club Restaurant, Royal Banquet Hall and Tahitian Terrace or Corner Cafe Selection at Main Street Corner Cafe; and
  3. guests will be entitled to enjoy the 20% discount offer on flexible rate of Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Hollywood Hotel and Disney Explorers Lodge.
